गीता सार

गीता सार
योऽन्तःसुखोऽन्तरारामस्तथान्तर्ज्योतिरेव यः ।
स योगी ब्रह्मनिर्वाणं ब्रह्मभूतोऽधिगच्छति ॥ - श्रीमदभगवद्गीता (५:२४)
अर्थ : जो पुरुष अन्तरात्मा में ही सुखवाला है, आत्मा में ही रमण करने वाला है तथा जो आत्मा में ही ज्ञान वाला है, वह सच्चिदानन्दघन परब्रह्म परमात्मा के साथ एकीभाव को प्राप्त सांख्य योगी शांत ब्रह्म को प्राप्त होता है |

BHAGAVAN AND MONKEYS

Between 1899 and 1922, Ramana was staying in the various caves of the Arunachala hill but mainly at Virupaksha and Skandasramam.
The hill abounded in monkeys. Ramana would refer to it as their kingdom and to humans as intruders. Even after he shifted to Ramanasramam on the southern slope of Arunachaia, his jungle hermitage was also the monkeys' home.

Ramana was very observant.His love of all life made him study the general behavior and attitude of the monkeys who were daily visitors in large numbers to Virupaksha Cave and Skandasramam. As a result he knew about their way of life, their sports, their system of government, their attitudes and priorities. Often two monkey groups would come to him to arbitrate and his decision would be readily accepted.

Generally monkeys are looked down upon and one refers to their restlessness and mischief when talking about the mind. The mind is referred to as a "monkey". However, Bhagavan would always talk about their strengths, as would be seen from his remarks, "I have known something about their organisation, kings, laws etc. Everything is so
perfect, so much intelligence behind it all." He would say.
"I even known that tapas is not unknown to monkeys. A monkey whom we used to call 'Mottaipaiyan' was once oppressed and ill-treated by a gang. He went away into the forest for a few days, did tapas, acquired strength and returned. When he came and sat on a bough and shook it, all the rest of the monkeys, who had previously ill-treated him and of whom he was previously afraid, were now quaking before him. Yes, I am clear that tapas is well known to monkeys."

Swami Vijnanananda practised severe austerities fifteen hours a day for ten years while at the Brahmavadin Club. In 1910 he bought a house and a vacant plot across the road from it in the Muthiganj area of Allahabad. He turned the house into a Ramakrishna Monastery and built another house on the vacant plot for a charitable homeopathic dispensary.

Once the doctor of the charitable homeopathic dispensary resigned. This created a great difficulty for the swami. He could not find a doctor immediately, and he was very concerned for the indigent patients. He pondered: "Well, it is the Master's work; I shall give medicine chanting his name."

Swami Vijnanananda had no knowledge of medicine, nevertheless he started to go to the dispensary every morning. He gave homeopathic medicine to the patients without asking about their diseases or physical problems. When the female patients tried to tell him their physical problems, the swami said: "Don't talk about your disease. Take the medicine and go home." It was amazing: Every single drop of homeopathic medicine he gave cured each patient - not one had to return for a second dose. When this miraculous news spread, more patients began to appear every day. It became difficult to control the crowds.

Then the swami brought in a doctor from Varanasi and was relieved of the responsibility. The doctor checked the stock of medicine and discovered that even the nitric acid bottles were empty. Frightened and amazed, he said to the swami, "Maharaj, you have cleared even the nitric acid!" Vijnanananda simply said: "I have given medicine in the name of the Master and the patients got well. There is no credit for me; I did as he asked me to do."!

Kalabhairava is the form of Lord Shiva who bestows upon us a very powerful protection from all the perils in life. “Kala” means black or time. “Bhairava” means the fearless one. Kalabhairava is depicted in the scriptures as the destroyer of all evil and negative forces. Kalabhairava is the Lord of Time. He takes care of the maintenance of the Dharma. He protects devotees and bestows upon them all great mystical powers. Kalabhairava is the deity of esoteric powers. He rules the nervous system in the human body, and so heals all the nervous disorders. The power and compassion of Kalabhairava is such that the dust of Kalabhairava’s feet itself can liberate people and bestow Enlightenment. Kalabhairava is the king of the city of Varanasi or Kashi – the city of Lord Shiva. The Kalabhairavashtakam written by the great incarnation Sri Shankaracharya describes Kalabhairava as the bestower of fame and all the worldly pleasures as well as the Divine bliss.

In Shiva temples, Kalabhairava is installed near the entrance of the temple, for He is the Kshetra Palaka – the protector of the energy field

Kalabhairavashtami is the day when Lord Shiva took the form of Kalabhairava. Or in other words,Kalabhairavastami is the day of advent of Lord Kalabhairava. On this day, Lord Kalabhairava makes His presence intense wherever He is worshiped. On this day, Kalabhairava removes all the sufferings of the devotees and grants whatever boons they ask. Offering worship to the Lord of Time – Kalabhairava – tunes our system to be receptive to the healing energy that He is intensely radiating.

OM NAMAH SHIVAY

This mantra is a prayer to Lord Shiva who is addressed as Sankara and Trayambaka. Sankara means giver of blessings: (sana = blessings, Kara = the Giver). Trayambaka is the three eyed one, where the third eye signifies the giver of knowledge, which destroys ignorance and releases us from the cycle of death and rebirth.

To him my prostration.

हे पृथ्वी माँ

सुबह उठने के पश्चात ( यदि संभव हो तो सूर्योदय के पहले उठें ) और बिछावन त्यागने से पूर्व एवं भूमिमें चरण स्पर्श हो उससे पूर्व इन प्रार्थनाओं को अपनी दिनचर्या का भाग बनाएँ !
सर्व प्रथम अपने दोनों हाथों को अपने नेत्र के समक्ष रखकर यह प्रार्थना करना चाहिए !
कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वति |
करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ||
अर्थ : हाथके अग्रभाग में लक्ष्मी का वास है । हस्तके मध्य में सरस्वती का वास है, और हस्तके मूल में गोविंद भगवान का वास है | अतः सुबह सुबह प्रथम अपने हस्त का दर्शन करना चाहिये |
तत्पश्चात भूमि को हाथ से स्पर्श कर भूमि प्रार्थना इस प्रकार करें |
समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले ।
विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्वमे ॥
हे पृथ्वी माँ आप विष्णु पत्नी हैं, समुद्र आपके वस्त्र हैं और पर्वत आपके वक्षस्थल हैं, मैं आपको वंदन करता हूँ और चलते समय मेरे चरणों के स्पर्श आपको होंगे कृपया मेरी इस धृष्टता को क्षमा करें !
Try to do these two prayers after getting up in the morning (preferably before sunrise ) . First open your palm and mediate on it by saying the first verse and then and before letting the feet touch the ground , recite the second verse in the form of prayer to Mother earth by touching the ground with your hand .

1. कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वति |
करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ||
karagre wasate laxmih , karmadhye saraswati
karmoole tu govindah prabhate kar darshanam

Meaning : Goddess Lakshmii dwells at the beginning of the hand.
In the center of the palm resides Sarasvati, the Goddess
of wisdom. At the base of the palm is Govinda, the
Lord of the universe. Hence, one should look and meditate on
the hand early in the morning immediately after rising.

2. समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले ।
विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्वमे ॥
Samudra-Vasane Devi Parvat-Stana-Manddale |
Vishnu-Patni Namastubhyam Paada-sparsham Kshama-Svame ||

Meaning: (O Mother Earth) The Devi Who is having Ocean as Her Garments and Mountains as Her Bosom, Who is the Consort of Sri Vishnu, I Bow to You; Please Forgive Us for Touching You with Our Feet.

भश्हजं भवरोगिणामखिलापदामपहारिणं

भुक्तिमुक्तफलप्रदं सकलाघसण्‍घनिवर्हनं
चन्द्रशेखर चन्द्रशेखर चन्द्रशेखर रक्शमाम.ह ॥ ७॥

भक्त वत्सलमचिञ्तं निधिमक्शयं हरिदम्वरं
सर्वभूतपतिं परात्पर प्रमेयमनुत्तमम.ह ।
सोमवारिज भूहुताशनसोमपानिलखाकृतिं
चन्द्रशेखर चन्द्रशेखर चन्द्रशेखर रक्शमाम.ह ॥ ८॥

विश्वसृश्ह्टिविधालिनं पुनरेव पालनतत्परं
संहरन्तमपि प्रपञ्चम शेश्हलोकनिवासिनम.ह ।
क्रिडयन्तमहर्निशं गणनाथयूथ समन्वितं
चन्द्रशेखर चन्द्रशेकर चन्द्रशेकर रक्शमाम.ह ॥ ९॥

मृत्युभीतमृकण्डसूनुकृतस्तव शिव सन्निधौ
यत्र कुत्र च पठेन्नहि तस्य मृत्युभयं भवेत.ह ।
पूर्णमायुररोगितामखिलाथ सम्पदमादरं
चन्द्रशेखर एव तस्य ददाति मुक्तिमयत्नतः ॥ १०॥

जय जय जय गणपति गणराजू। मंगल भरण करण शुभ काजू॥१

जय गजबदन सदन सुखदाता। विश्व विनायक बुद्घि विधाता॥२

वक्र तुण्ड शुचि शुण्ड सुहावन। तिलक त्रिपुण्ड भाल मन भावन॥३

राजत मणि मुक्तन उर माला। स्वर्ण मुकुट शिर नयन विशाला॥४

पुस्तक पाणि कुठार त्रिशूलं। मोदक भोग सुगन्धित फूलं॥५

सुन्दर पीताम्बर तन साजित। चरण पादुका मुनि मन राजित॥६

धनि शिवसुवन षडानन भ्राता। गौरी ललन विश्व-विख्याता॥७

ऋद्घि-सिद्घि तव चंवर सुधारे। मूषक वाहन सोहत द्घारे॥८

कहौ जन्म शुभ-कथा तुम्हारी। अति शुचि पावन मंगलकारी॥९

एक समय गिरिराज कुमारी। पुत्र हेतु तप कीन्हो भारी।१०

भयो यज्ञ जब पूर्ण अनूपा। तब पहुंच्यो तुम धरि द्घिज रुपा॥११

अतिथि जानि कै गौरि सुखारी। बहुविधि सेवा करी तुम्हारी॥१२

अति प्रसन्न है तुम वर दीन्हा। मातु पुत्र हित जो तप कीन्हा॥१३

मिलहि पुत्र तुहि, बुद्घि विशाला। बिना गर्भ धारण, यहि काला॥१४

गणनायक, गुण ज्ञान निधाना। पूजित प्रथम, रुप भगवाना॥१५

अस कहि अन्तर्धान रुप है। पलना पर बालक स्वरुप है॥१६

बनि शिशु, रुदन जबहिं तुम ठाना। लखि मुख सुख नहिं गौरि समाना॥१७

सकल मगन, सुखमंगल गावहिं। नभ ते सुरन, सुमन वर्षावहिं॥१८

शम्भु, उमा, बहु दान लुटावहिं। सुर मुनिजन, सुत देखन आवहिं॥१९

लखि अति आनन्द मंगल साजा। देखन भी आये शनि राजा॥२०

निज अवगुण गुनि शनि मन माहीं। बालक, देखन चाहत नाहीं॥२१

गिरिजा कछु मन भेद बढ़ायो। उत्सव मोर, न शनि तुहि भायो॥२२

कहन लगे शनि, मन सकुचाई। का करिहौ, शिशु मोहि दिखाई॥२३

नहिं विश्वास, उमा उर भयऊ। शनि सों बालक देखन कहाऊ॥२४

पडतहिं, शनि दृग कोण प्रकाशा। बोलक सिर उड़ि गयो अकाशा॥२५

गिरिजा गिरीं विकल है धरणी। सो दुख दशा गयो नहीं वरणी॥२६

हाहाकार मच्यो कैलाशा। शनि कीन्हो लखि सुत को नाशा॥२७

तुरत गरुड़ चढ़ि विष्णु सिधायो। काटि चक्र सो गज शिर लाये॥२८

बालक के धड़ ऊपर धारयो। प्राण, मन्त्र पढ़ि शंकर डारयो॥२९

नाम गणेश शम्भु तब कीन्हे। प्रथम पूज्य बुद्घि निधि, वन दीन्हे॥३०

बुद्घि परीक्षा जब शिव कीन्हा। पृथ्वी कर प्रदक्षिणा लीन्हा॥३१

चले षडानन, भरमि भुलाई। रचे बैठ तुम बुद्घि उपाई॥३२

धनि गणेश कहि शिव हिय हरषे। नभ ते सुरन सुमन बहु बरसे॥३३

चरण मातु-पितु के धर लीन्हें। तिनके सात प्रदक्षिण कीन्हें॥३४

तुम्हरी महिमा बुद्घि बड़ाई। शेष सहसमुख सके न गाई॥३५

मैं मतिहीन मलीन दुखारी। करहुं कौन विधि विनय तुम्हारी॥३६

भजत रामसुन्दर प्रभुदासा। जग प्रयाग, ककरा, दर्वासा॥३७

अब प्रभु दया दीन पर कीजै। अपनी भक्ति शक्ति कछु दीजै॥३८

श्री गणेश यह चालीसा, पाठ करै कर ध्यान।३९

नित नव मंगल गृह बसै, लहे जगत सन्मान॥४०
